TOUR A: FIELD VISITS (5 OPTIONS)

Panama Free Zones

An informative session sponsored by the Directorate of Free Zones of Panama and the Association of Free Zones of Panama, followed by a tour of the most prominent Free Zones in Panama City, specialized in a variety of sectors such as food production, light manufacturing and technology.

 Panama Pacific Special Economic Area

A visit of the Special Economic Zone, a 2,200-hectare mixed-use planned complex located west of Panama City, will be conducted after an informational presentation on Panama Pacifico and the Reverted Assets program. It has an international airport, five international schools, more than 365 notable businesses, residential developments, and more than 600 hectares of green space. The commercial and industrial zone of Panama Pacifico focuses on commercial activities such as high-tech manufacturing, logistics services, shared and administrative services.

 City of knowledge

The City of Knowledge, which is part of the International Tech-park of Panama and its Business Acceleration program, is a global complex that fosters the collaboration of academic and scientific research institutions, as well as cultural organizations committed to human resource development programs, technology research and production, and cross-cultural exchange. With the assistance of the City of Knowledge Foundation and the National Secretariat for Science, Technology, and Innovation, you will learn more about this lively community during this tour of the City of Knowledge facilities.

 Colon Free Zone and Cruise Port

The tour starts with a visit to Panama's Colon Free Zone, the second-largest free zone in the world and one of the top multimodal distribution hubs, before moving on to the Colón 2000 Cruise Port, the Agua Clara locks, and the historic San Lorenzo Fort, where you can imagine the legendary Portobelo Fairs and all the mystery of the most famous city in the New World.

 Real Estate Projects

ACOBIR, the Panamanian Association of Real Estate Brokers and Developers of Panama, will sponsor a tour of the most prominent and impressive projects in Panama City and surrounding areas, which qualify for investment residency from the qualified investor program.

 TOUR B: PANAMA CANAL

Visitors will stop at the Miraflores Visitors Center after seeing the Interoceanic Canal Museum in Old Town, which is devoted to preserving, studying, and spreading the testimonies of the history of the Panama Canal. Following a guided tour, participants will have opportunity to enjoy watching the ships pass through the locks from the observatory's different floors. Departure time: 10:00 a.m.

 TOUR C: PANAMA GOLF CLUB

Panama Golf Club The modern complex covers a total of 124 hectares between the sports field and the urbanization located in the “Cerro Viento” area, thirty minutes from Panama City. The course has 18 holes, par 72, and a 6-hole course for children with its Club House and Driving Range (practice field). The golf course has irrigation and paths for golf carts. It also has 4 tennis courts, two of which are indoors. A swimming pool for adults and one for children, sauna, Proshop, bar service, restaurants and four rooms for your events.

From 2004 to 2017 it has been one of the official stops on the PGA Tour, in 2017 it was the headquarters of the Latin American Amateur Championship. The winners of this tournament participate directly in the Masters Championship, the Open, U.S. Open, Amateur Championship, U.S. Amateur Championship and any other tournament organized by the USGA, and recently hosted the Korn Ferry Tour (PGA).
